Unveiling The "Human Ladder", On The Wall Of Eli's Building

Thursday will see the official unveiling of the amazing mural on the east side of the building housing Eli Cannon's Tap Room. The mural is the work of Pat Ganino, a Durham-based artist whose Creative Evolution has done murals throughout the northeast.

Ganino will also unveil Eli's newest House Ale, "Paganino Human Ladder Ale."

The event is from 5PM to 9PM on Thursday, September 22nd.

I suggest readers go to the Creative Evolution website offered in the article. Imagine if Middletown became a place known for its colorful and imaginative murals. We already have some very nice ones.

Thanks for highlighting these great murals....

Middletown has many positive aspects, not the least of which is Main Street. I believe artists would flock to Middletown IF somehow the negative effects of Title 8 rental allotments (high rents for everyone) could be mitigated through sustained creation of additional affordable housing.

I feel that Title 8 rental subsidies enable landlords to keep rents artifically high, which discourages younger creative types of people from settling in Middletown (and New England). This is sad.

Fair play that looks amazing! I take it it was painted on the scafolding and what knot. Very impressive though.
