First Church This Sunday

First Church of Christ,
Congregational

Transfiguration Sunday

This Sunday, March 6, is Transfiguration Sunday. In examining Matthew 17:1-9, we find that this bizarre text has more to do with our everyday lives than we'd expect. Prelude and Offertory by the Heart In Hand Bell Choir. Children’s Program — Children will leave the Parish Hall for a brief lesson before returning for Holy Communion.

Inquirers’ Class

An Inquirers’ Class for those who are new to First Church or considering membership will be held in the Memorial Room on Saturday, March 12, starting at 8:30 and concluding no later than 12 noon . Attending this class does not mean you have decided to join First Church, but it’s a good way to get to know others and to feel more connected with our congregation and its traditions. Light refreshments will be served by some members of the Board of Deacons. If you would like to attend and have not already told us you plan to come, please let us know.
