School Roofs To Be Cleared Over Weekend

Board of Education Chairman Ted Raczka reported that all school roofs have been inspected for signs of stress, and that inspections have not uncovered any problems.

The BOE has hired a contractor to clear all school roofs over the upcoming weekend to prevent any potential problem.

Thank you for this update. I am wondering who has done these inspections? Were they done by the custodial staff in the school? The facilities manager for the school district? The fire department or a building inspector? A structural engineer? As a parent, I am extremely anxious about the physical and emotional safety of all the students/teachers in our district. It is my hope that the district is taking extreme measures to be sure that our schools are safe.
