Election Results in Middletown (Unofficial)

With a high voter turnout for a mid-term election of nearly 62%, the results of the election in Middletown had Dan Malloy (8527) leading Tom Foley (5430) for governor.  In the Senate race Richard Blumenthal (9203) led Linda McMahon (4833).  Rosa DeLauro received more than twice as many votes as Jerry Labriola.    In the State Senate race, Democrat Paul Doyle had 5398 votes to Dom Mazzoccoli's 2334.   In the State House race Joe Serra received 4435 votes to David Bauer's 2236.  Matt Lesser had a strong showing in Middletown with 2528 votes to John Szewczyk's 1557.  According to word at the Middletown Town Clerk's office, Szewczyk showed well in Middlefield, but not strongly enough to overcome Lesser's Middletown lead.

In the surprise of the evening, Earl Roberts (1078) was less than 400 votes behind his opponent, incumbent Gail Hamm (1465) for the State House race.  Voting in East Hampton had not been reported as of this writing.

Denise Merrill received 8317 votes for Secretary of State to Jerry Ferrell's 4640.  And race for Attorney General it was George Jepsen 8799 to Martha Dean's 4503.

All reported tallies are unofficial until filed by the town clerk's office.

Do you have the updated results for Middletown as of today??? In the Press, you cannot find the outcome for all races in town.
