From the Middletown Police Department
On Saturday, June 5, 2010 at approximately 9:29 A.M. a serious motor vehicle collision occurred on Ridgewood Road in the area of the Town Place apartment complex.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Mr. Michael Cardoze, age 47, of Middletown, was traveling in a westerly direction on Ridgewood Road. A 1999 Dodge Stratus operated by Mr. Wilmer Estupinan, age 35, of Middletown, was traveling in an easterly direction on Ridgewood Road. Subsequently, the Dodge Stratus turned left, attempting to turn into the Town Place apartment complex when the vehicle and motorcycle collided.
As a result of the collision, Mr. Cardoze was transported to Hartford Hospital and is listed in stable condition. Mr. Estupinan was not injured in the collision.
