Triad, a Law Enforcement Link for Seniors

A Senior Triad program is being formed in Middletown.  Middletown will be the 60th Connecticut community to have the program,
What is a Triad?  It is a program that focuses on reducing criminal victimization of older persons and enhancing the delivery of law enforcement services to these individuals.  Simply put, senior citizens should be able to feel safe in their own community.
The Triad is a partnership of three factions of the community: law enforcement, senior citizens and community and business groups coming together to address the safety and health needs and concerns of seniors in their community.
The Middletown Police Department, Senior Services Commission and Peoples Bank are the prime sponsors of the program, but it is vital to have the support of the community to have the program succeed.
You are invited to the Triad Agreement signing ceremony to be held on Tuesday, March 23rd at 4pm at St. Pius Church hall located on Westfield Street in Middletown.
