Democratic Registrar of Voters appointed Attorney Nancy Conaway-Raczka as Assistant Registrar of Voters on Monday.
"I'm very happy about the appointment I made," Faraci said Monday evening at the Democratic Town Committee. "She has done so much for the city. Her dedication is the perfect fit for her and the job at this moment."
Conaway-Raczka is a former Common Council member and serves on the Board of Assessment Appeals.
When asked if she would continue to practice law, she declined to comment.
"That's personal," she said. "My full time job will be right here at City Hall."
