Health Net of the Northeast and the East Haddam Senior Center are hosting a Health Net Senior Stars event. Health Net Senior Stars is a state-wide karaoke competition for Connecticut seniors. More than 45 senior centers will participate.
Middletown, East Haddam, North Branford, Madison and Old Lyme seniors will be singing songs of their choice. A panel of local judges will rate their performances, and the spectators will get a chance to select their choices. All of the performances will eventually be taped and uploaded to a new Health Net Senior Stars YouTube site.
Health Net Senior Stars is a follow-up to last year’s wildly popular Health Net Cup Wii™ senior bowling tournament, which just wrapped up its second season.
